My favorite place to stay DTLA!

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Normandie and would definitely stay here again. From start to finish, the staff was incredibly proactive, attentive, and great with communication. They were welcoming, responsive, and made the entire experience feel easy and comfortable. The level of service really stood out to me. The food at Cassell’s was also excellent and was a great addition to the stay. The only issue I experienced was a power outage that affected the entire block for a few hours one night. I completely understand that this was outside of the hotel’s control, and I don’t fault the hotel for the outage itself. The entire property was dark during the outage, and the staff provided flashlights to some guests. However, there wasn’t any gesture or compensation offered for the disruption. Again, I understand that the outage wasn’t the hotel’s fault, but as a paying guest, I think some acknowledgment of the inconvenience would have been appreciated. Overall, though, I had a great experience at Hotel Normandie. The staff and communication were excellent, the food was great, and I would happily stay here again.
